Dimensional Inspection

Accurate Evaluation Of Parts And Components

Ensuring adherence to specified tolerances, compliance with design specifications, and alignment with stringent quality standards, dimensional inspection plays a pivotal role in precision-critical industries like manufacturing, engineering, and quality control. It is instrumental in guaranteeing product performance and compliance by evaluating and verifying crucial physical dimensions and measurements against the part's nominal design using advanced tools like 3D CAD models and/or 2D prints.

With our portable hand-held 3D scanners, you can now bring the CMM to your assembly line or production cells eliminating size and weight limitations. Our 3D scanners can scan most materials, including shiny or black objects, with an accuracy of up to 0.012 mm (0.0004 in). We can also scan objects with a volume of 150m (492 ft.) with as low an accuracy as 0.278 (0.0109 in).

Scanning For Small, Medium, And Large Parts Of Up To 1,000 lbs.
